Japanese 2 is a continuing course of the Japanese language and culture. You will further develop your proficiency in the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), and increase your knowledge of Japanese culture by participating in a variety of communicative activities.
By the end of the course, you will be able to talk about rules at different places, make orders at restaurants, cook a Japanese dish, compare a variety of items, express your wishes, describe abilities, etc. You will also be able to read and write more complex sentences and short paragraphs in Japanese with more Kanji. In addition to the basic Japanese language skills, you will also increase your knowledge of the Japanese people and their culture as well as Japan’s geography through different cultural activities.
