Parade:  Starts at 1:30 p.m. on “C” Street between 3rd and 5th Street.

JV Game:  5 p.m.

Varsity Game:  7:15 p.m.

Dance:  9:30 p.m. –  12 a.m.  NOTE:  Ticket sales are during lunch and at the beginning of 7thperiod till Thursday at the Finance Office. (2018 Dance Contract)

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1746 - The College of New Jersey was officially chartered. It later became known as Princeton University.

Colleges visiting the Career Center today are Lewis & Clark, UC Irvine and Pomona. Tuesday is Reed College and Thursday is Sacramento City College’s health-related career programs. Come to the Career Center to see the list of upcoming college visits!

 

Want to help improve the DHS gardens? Come to the Environmental Club’s Garden Day today from 2:30 to 4:30 or whenever you can! Meet in room S-10 after school. Everyone is welcome! Environmental Club meets every Thursday at lunch in S-10.

 

Come to L-21 today @ lunch Chinese Culture Club will be playing Ma Hjong. Come with your friends.

Haunted House - Saturday October 27th. Calling all thrill seekers! Come to the student-run haunted house, Cirque Du Scare, at 2620 Corona Drive in Davis from 7pm-midnight. Tickets are $5 at the door and benefit the DHS Jazz Choir.  Get ready to be scared – are you brave enough to enter the Cirque Du Scare haunted house?

 

Did you know that the hummingbird is the only bird that can fly backwards? Come to Environmental Club to see how you can help improve DHS Gardens to attract more hummingbirds. We can meet every Thursday during lunch in room

S-10. Everyone is welcome!

 

CAREERS:

Are you interested in pursuing a career in a health field, such as nursing or physical therapy?  If so, come to the Career Center on Thursday, October 25 at lunch to learn about the many health-related programs offered at Sacramento City College.
