PSAT/NMSQT @ DSHS - Tuesday, January 26, 2021

Registration for the PSAT/NMSQT of January 26, 2021 is now closed. You may pay for your PSAT/NMSQT on Monday, January 25th at the webstore at https://bluedevilonlinestore.myschoolcentral.com/ . Cost:$25.00. Contact your counselor for financial assistance.

Test day information

  • Arrive at 7:30am at the Stadium entryway to campus .
  • A greeter will provide you with a Daily Illness Form if you don’t already have one.
  • Check-in with a Health Screener that will be stationed near your assigned classroom to review the Daily Illness Form and take your temperature.
  • Report to your assigned room at 8:00am or when you have finished checking in with a Health Screener.
  • Park in the Stadium/North Gym parking lot.
  • Come to room P-12 for questions. Extra masks and copies of the Daily Illness Screening Checklist will be available at tables located near your classroom.
  • No Late Entry once the test begins. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Seating capacity will be limited to 12 students.
  • All cell phones and wearable technology must be shut down prior to entering a testing room. Students must disable all alarms, turn their cell phone and wearable technology off completely and place items in your bag or backpack and place them in the front of the classroom. If you are unsure how to disable your phone, please ask the proctor to send it to P-12 and it will be returned to you after testing.


What to bring

  • Face mask that covers both their mouth and nose. This requirement is mandatory before, during, and after testing.
  • Daily Illness Screening Checklist (Copies will be available at tables outside the N & P wing)
  • Photo ID
  • Two #2 pencils
  • An approved calculator

 

What not to bring

<   Cell phones - Better yet: Leave them at home if possible.

<   Audio players/recorders, tablets, laptops, notebooks, Google Glass, or any other personal computing devices

<   Separate timers of any type

<   Cameras or any other photographic equipment

<   Any devices, including digital watches, that can be used to record, transmit, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text,  or video content.

 

IF YOUR DEVICE MAKES A NOISE (EVEN IF COLLECTED BY THE PROCTOR) OR IF YOU ARE SEEN USING IT AT ANY TIME, INCLUDING DURING BREAKS, YOU WILL BE DISMISSED IMMEDIATELY, YOUR SCORES CAN BE CANCELED, AND THE DEVICE WILL BE CONFISCATED AND ITS CONTENTS INSPECTED.
