Field Hockey
Head Coach - Elizabeth Hogan
Coach Hogan took over the DSHS Field Hockey program in 2019.
Elizabeth started playing field hockey as a freshman for Davis High
School were she made the transition
from soccer to field hockey goalkeeper.
After her freshman season she started to attend Futures training and
playing in tournaments around the country on State and Regional teams. Coach Hogan also had the opportunity to play at the US
Olympic Festival and AAU Junior Olympics.
After
graduating from DHS she received an athletic scholarship to attend Michigan State
University. During her freshman year she was selected to the US Field Hockey Junior National Squad and competed in the
Netherlands. As a Spartan Coach Hogan was selected
to the Academic All-Big Ten team.
As a graduated from Michigan State with a Degree in Kinesiology she returned to
California and attended CSUS to complete her Physical Education and Adapted
Physical Education Credential. Currently coach Hogan teaches Adapted Physical Education for Yolo County Office of
Education.
Since graduating from Michigan State University Coach Hogan has coached a variety of sports including field hockey, soccer, basketball
and Special Olympic Teams.
