Davis High counselors use a software system called Naviance to help students manage the career search and college admissions process. This includes the tracking applications, supporting documents, recommendations, and admissions contacts. In addition, students may explore career interests, set future goals, take a personality inventory, and assess their academic standing in regards to college admission criteria at various schools.

Students and parents both are able to access Naviance. Students will have their registration code given to them by their counselor during 10th grade. Parents are able to obtain their registration code any time thereafter. Juniors and seniors: visit your counselor to receive your registration code.

By senior year, the expectation is that 100% of students will utilize the system. To access the Letter of Recommendation form, the Scholarship List, and the DHS College Handbook, students must login to Naviance and visit the Document Library.
