Test Day Information

  • The SAT for DHS is held on Saturday, March 14, 2020
  • Arrive at 7:45 a.m. Report to P-13 for your room assignment. N-04 is near the back of campus near the North Gym and Baseball diamond 
  • No Late Entry once the test begins. NO EXCEPTIONS

What to Bring

SAT at DHS

  • Photo ID: Current year school ID

     or license/government ID – NO entry without - ID on cell phone will not be accepted

  • Admission Ticket
  • #2 Pencil
  • An approved calculator

Cell Phone Policy

  • Please consider leaving your cell phone at home. Cell phones, wearable technology and electronic devices will be collected before administering the test
  • Cell phones, wearable technology and electronic devices must be OFF (not on silence).
  • If your cell phone or electronic device make any noise you will be dismissed and your test will be canceled.
  • Students may use the phone in room P-12 after testing.

Snacks & Drinks

  • Snacks and drinks must be removed from backpacks, bags and purses prior to testing. Students are not allowed to access their backpacks, bags or purses during testing or during the breaks.

Timing

  • The approximate end time will be:
  • 12:15 p.m.      - SAT 
  • 1:00 p.m.        - SAT with essay
  • 1:30 p.m.        - SAT w/50% extended time
  • 3:05 p.m.        - SAT with Essay w/50% extended time

Breaks



Students receive a 10-minute break after Section 1, a 5-minute break after Section 3, and, if taking the optional SAT Essay, a 2-minute break before the Essay.

Prohibited Devices


Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:
  • Cell phones or smartphones
  • Audio players or recorders
  • Tablets, laptops, notebooks, or any other personal computing devices, including wearable technology
  • Separate timers of any type
  • Cameras or any other photographic equipment
  • Smartwatches or any other devices that can be used to send, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text, or video content
