Davis Senior High School has 14 Chromebook carts available for use by teachers. Carts 1-7 are the "zone" or neighborhood carts that are assigned to particular buildings across the campus. Carts 8-11 and 13-14 are issued from the library AV room and may be used anywhere on campus. Cart 12 may be reserved for use at the north library seating area.

All carts have 35 Chromebooks, unless otherwise noted (occasionally a Chromebook may be out for repair).

Please use the Chromebook Schedule form for the cart being reserved. Please be mindful that the same cart may be used multiple times in the week or even the same day, moving between classrooms as a result. Some carts may only be reserved for part of the day, but may not be easily accessible to other parts of campus; account for this when making reservations. (For example, it is impractical to move a cart used in L-21 during 1st period to room P-21 for 2nd period, as it requires two elevator trips.)

Please reserve the cart for no more than three consecutive days in a week. To ensure equitable access for students, limit Chromebook cart usage in the classroom. Teachers may also reserve use of the library Chromebook cart (used in the north seating area) and the library computer lab; both schedule binders are at the library circulation desk.

Please return the cart to its storage location at the end of the reservation. Do not make "sweetheart" arrangements unless they are also recorded through a Chromebook Schedule form and appear on the calendar.

All carts must be returned to their secure storage location by Friday afternoon, even if the reservation continues the following week. Unfortunately, the school has been subject to weekend and vacation-time theft. This practice also permits necessary routine maintenance on the Chromebooks and carts.

Please ensure the Chromebooks are in their numbered slots, and are plugged into their respective charging cables.

Please report any missing, damaged or malfunctioning Chromebooks to the cart host.
