SAT School Day – Tuesday, October 27, 2020


Test Day Information

  • DHS will host the SAT School Day on Tuesday, October 27, 2020
  • Register students should arrive at 8:00 a.m. Report to room P-12 for your room assignment.
  • No Late Entry once the test begins. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Your class attendance will be excused for all classes on 10/27/2020.
  • All cell phones and wearable technology must be shut down prior to entering a testing room. Students must disable all alarms, turn their cell phone and wearable technology off completely and place them in a bag or backpack and place them on the side of the room until the test is over. A plastic bag to store your phone will be provided.


 

Payment
In order to prevent refunds for absent students, students can pay for the SAT after the examination at https://bludedevilonlinestore.myschoolcentral.com. If you need financial support, please contact your counselor.

Safety
- Anyone entering DSHS Campus is required to wear a mask that covers both their mouth and nose. This
  requirement is mandatory before, during, and after testing.
- Students are required to social distance as they enter the building and proceed to their testing room.
 - All students will sit six feet apart in their testing room.

Timing
The approximate end time:
12:45 p.m.      - SAT
1:45 p.m.        - SAT with essay

What NOT to Bring - Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:
- Cell phones - Better yet: Leave them at home.

Audio players/recorders, tablets, laptops, notebooks, Google Glass, or any other personal computing devices
- Separate  timers of any type
- Cameras or any other photographic equipment
- Any devices, including digital watches, that can be used to record, transmit, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text,  or video content (with the exception of CD players used for Language with Listening Subject Tests only)

If, however, you forget to leave a device at home, you will be instructed to turn off all electronic devices before testing  
  begins. Be sure to turn off your watch alarm, if you have one.


IF YOUR DEVICE MAKES A NOISE (EVEN IF COLLECTED BY THE PROCTOR) OR IF YOU ARE SEEN USING IT AT ANY TIME, INCLUDING DURING BREAKS, YOU WILL BE DISMISSED IMMEDIATELY, YOUR SCORES CAN BE CANCELED, AND THE DEVICE WILL BE CONFISCATED AND ITS CONTENTS INSPECTED.
