SAT @ Davis Senior High School on 11/7/2020

Currently, the November 7, 2020 SAT scheduled to be held at Davis Senior High School will proceed as planned. If circumstances change that require the cancellation of the test, the closure will be posted on the DSHS website and the College Board website. Since conditions continue to change quickly during the pandemic, it is recommended that students/parents check frequently for test center updates at https://pages.collegeboard.org/sat-covid-19-updates


All students entering Davis Senior High School Test Center will be required to adhere to the following safety protocols and procedures:

  • All staff and students in the test center MUST wear a mask or protective face covering at all times while waiting outside of the test center, in the test center. This is required for the duration of the test. Failure to comply will result in dismissal form the test center. The face covering must fit over the mouth and nose and be secured behind the ears or head with straps. No neck gaiters of bandanas allowed.
  • Students will be asked to series of College Board required COVID safety screening questions upon entrance to the test center. More information about these questions can be found on the College Board website at https://pages.collegeboard.org/sat-covid-19-updates

Test Day Information

  • The SAT for DHS is held on Saturday, November 7, 2020
  • Arrive at 7:30 a.m. Report to P-13 for your room assignment. P-13 is near the back of campus in the two-story P-Wing building.
  • No Late Entry once the test begins. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Cell phones and wearable technology will be collected before administering the test.

Test Day Timing

  • 12:15 p.m.      - SAT 
  • 1:00 p.m.        - SAT with essay
  • 1:30 p.m.        - SAT w/50% extended time
  • 3:05 p.m.        - SAT with Essay w/50% extended time

What to Bring

What NOT to Bring - Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:

  • Cell phones - Better yet: Leave them at home. Staff will collect cell phones before testing begins. Staff will collect devices such as cell phones, smartwatches and electronic devices before testing begins and return them after testing.
  • Audio players/recorders, tablets, laptops, notebooks, Google Glass, or any other personal computing devices
  • Separate timers of any type
  • Cameras or any other photographic equipment
  • Any devices, including digital watches, that can be used to record, transmit, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text, or video content (with the exception of CD players used for Language with Listening Subject Tests only)
  • You may not bring electronics of any kind with you on test day. If, however, you forget to leave a device at home, you’ll be instructed to turn off all electronic devices during the test and even during breaks. Be sure to turn off your watch alarm, if you have one. If your device makes a noise (even if collected by the proctor) or you are seen using it at any time, including during breaks, you may be dismissed immediately, your scores can be canceled, and the device may be confiscated and its contents inspected.
