It's Time to Apply for Financial Aid!

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is the most important step in the financial aid process and is a must for EVERY college student!  The federal and state government and most colleges require that you submit a FAFSA to determine your eligibility for financial aid. The FAFSA filing period is October 1 - March 2. You can find the FAFSA application here. You can find a helpful FAFSA worksheet here.   Fund Your Future magazine, a publication that provides information about California aid such as Cal Grants, can be accessed here.

It's College Tour time!  The City of Davis is offering its annual So-Cal Safari College Tour trip during spring break March 25-28.  Colleges on the tour are UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, CSU Long Beach, UC Irvine and USC. Cost of $530 includes transportation, college tours, breakfast, dinner and hotels.  Come to the Career Center or email Robert Larson a rlarson@cityofdavis.org for more information.

Juniors Can Now Apply for Rotary All-Expense-Paid Summer Camps

Rotary Club is offering two all-expense paid summer camps in June for juniors! Camp Royal is a leadership training camp to give students ideas and strategies to become more effective leaders. Camp Venture is a motivational summer camp for students interested in pursuing a career in business, particularly as entrepreneurs. Deadline to apply is March 15.  Come to the Career Center for Camp Royal and Camp Venture applications.
