Sports Physical Clinic! Saturday, June 1st 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Sutter Family Medicine 2030 Sutter Pl., Suite 2000. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring for the 2019-20 school year. $20 donation benefits DSHS Athletics. Please come for dinner, enjoy the Boy’s  Lacrosse Game JV 5:30pm/7:30V, recognize our Seniors and help Break the Record Night Tuesday, April 23rd. Wear Blue and White join us for a fun night with delicious food & beverages provided by Woodstocks Pizza, The Hotdogger and Jamba Juice @ Halden Field at DSHS Stadium. Hope to see you there!

 

ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:

Attention seniors! Senior Ball is May 11th at the Hyatt. Last ticket sale date is April 26th at lunch in the Finance office. All seniors wishing to purchase tickets will need the following items:

  1. Completed Table Organizer (one per group)
  2. Guest Pass applications (if applicable)
  3. Completed Prom Contact forms (required for each student)
  4. Student ID Cards (or number)
  5. Money for all guests included on the table organizer

All forms can be found in the front office. To ensure your group sits together, please have a representative of your group deliver all completed forms at the time of purchase.

Join the Art Department to celebrate the work of our high school artists at the Davis Arts Center on Friday from 6-7:30.  There will be food, music, and awards!

 

CLUBS:

Hey CSF! We are having a general meeting this week on Friday, April 12th, in P-13 at lunch. Be sure to come vote in our new officer elections for the 2019-20 school year. Hope to see you there!

 

CAREERS:

The City of Davis Police Department is offering its Police Youth Academy summer camp June 17-28. At the camp, students will participate in crime scene investigation, defensive tactics training, S.W.A.T, fire department activities, K9 and more! Come to the Career Center for a flyer.

 

SENIORS: A local scholarship deadline has been extended! The Officer Natalie Corona Memorial Scholarship is for students who are planning to pursue a career in law enforcement or criminal justice. The new deadline is this Wednesday, April 17. Come to the Career Center to pick up an application.

 

The next Financial Literacy class is Friday, April 12 at lunch in the Career Center. Financial literacy classes are open to all students and are a great way to learn money management skills!  Pizza will be provided. On Friday, a representative from Yolo Federal Credit Union will provide tips and suggestions on managing credit. Come to the Career Center this week to sign up!
